New version of Epic Browser released

The Indian made web browser, Epic, after about a fortnight of its launch, has now been upgraded to version 1.1. The updated version of the browser comes with bug fixes and new features like the Cricinfo widget. 

Based on the Mozilla Firefox platform, the latest version of the browser gets updated to Mozilla Firefox 3.6.7; reveals the Epic browser team. The browser makers also claim of faster load times as compared to its Epic version 1.0. 

The unique feature that set Epic version 1.0 apart from other browsers - a built-in antivirus protection- also has been tweaked in the latest browser update to perform better. The "Games" sidebar, which declined to work earlier, is mended now. The 'Home' button, absent in it first version, is a pleasant welcome. Users can add the Home Button to Epic via the "View" drop-down menu.

The Cricinfo widget allows you to keep updated with all the news from the cricketing world. 

For installing the Epic version 1.1, you can visit the official website of the browser. And if you already have it installed, it will automatically ask you to update to the newest version.
